Job summary

Bank of America Merrill Alternative Investments is seeking an experienced sales professional to join the Alternative Investments Specialist organization supporting the Private Wealth channel. The role focuses on sales, marketing, and education of hedge funds, private equity, and real assets to Merrill Financial Advisors.

The candidate will lead the PWM Alts Specialist team across multiple territories and supervise the PWM Internal Sales Desk, while servicing existing clients and prospecting

Qualifications

• 10+ years of financial services product and/or sales experience.
• Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of alternative investment products.
• Self-motivated with a passion for alternative investments and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Educate advisors on platform offerings, investment strategies, and product suitability.
• Assist in creating proposals for clients based on market research and analysis.
• Manage relationships with clients and advisors by being present in local offices and proactively reaching out.
• Partner with regional leadership to drive adoption of alternative products within the network.
• Lead and coach the PWM Alts Specialist team across multiple territories.
