Northern Lights Locating & Inspections Inc is seeking a Private Utility Locator to identify underground utilities for clients and property owners under 811 tickets. You will perform mapping, inspections, and documentation using maps, GIS data, and field equipment.

Qualifications

• 2 years locator experience required.
• Comfortable using a cell-phone based app to record locating marks for clients' property.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT physical certification.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities for clients and property owners based on 811 tickets.
• Perform hand hole inspections and documentation; GPS utility mapping.
• Use maps, as-built drawings, GIS data and equipment to locate utilities and mark their location.
• Prepare reports and memos documenting work performed and issues encountered.
