Northern Lights Locating and Inspection Inc in Houston, TX seeks a Private Utility Locator with 2 years of locator experience to locate underground utilities under 811 guidelines, perform GPS mapping, and document findings.

You will inspect hand holes, mark locations, take photos, prepare reports, and travel up to 75% with on-call rotation. Must pass drug screen and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years locator experience required.
• Able to read utility maps and as-built drawings.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ and work varied schedules.
• Pass drug screen and have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities per 811 tickets and laws.
• Perform hand hole inspections and GPS utility mapping.
• Mark locations using flags/paint and document findings.
• Prepare reports and photos for each locate ticket.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle in good working order.
