Job summary

Boston Tennis is seeking a passionate, certified tennis coach to lead private lessons, group lessons, and clinics for players of all ages in the Greater Boston area.

You'll run sessions across outdoor venues, set your own availability, and earn commission-based pay with a platform to book clients directly. The role emphasizes outreach and community-building within our growing 400-member nonprofit club.

Qualifications

• USTA Level 1 Coaching Certification or willingness to complete the USTA Coaching Fundamentals Workshop — a two-day in‑person training that qualifies you for Level 1 certification.
• Clean Massachusetts CORI background check.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
• UTR account and familiarity with UTR-sanctioned events.
• Experience working with youth players.
• If you don't have a UTR account, you must make one before applying and familiarize yourself with the platform.

Responsibilities

• Run private and group lessons for beginner to intermediate players.
• Lead clinics at outdoor venues across Greater Boston, and help grow the next generation of tennis players in our community.
