Job summary

EY Private Tax is seeking a Manager to lead tailored tax advice and compliance for high‑growth private wealth clients, including family offices and owner‑managed businesses. You will guide teams across multi‑jurisdictional matters, support wealth transfer strategies, and partner with other service lines to deliver integrated tax solutions.

You will manage complex projects, develop junior staff, and maintain strong client relationships while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with tax, business or financial planning experience.
• CPA certification or Bar membership.
• Typically 5–6 years of relevant experience in professional services or professional tax.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of tailored tax advice and compliance solutions for complex family and business structures.
• Supporting clients in wealth transfer, succession planning, and governance strategies.
• Navigating multi‑jurisdictional families and cross‑border tax matters.
• Preparing or reviewing federal and state tax returns for U.S. partnerships; foreign reporting requirements.
• Providing tax research, memoranda drafting, and quantitative modeling for private client tax advisory services.
• Managing, coaching and developing a team of tax professionals; reviewing work and ensuring quality.
