Job summary

EY Private Tax is seeking a Manager to lead personal and private tax advice for business owners, families and private wealth. You will guide cross-border matters, craft tailored planning, and supervise a team across multiple engagements.

You will coach professionals, manage risks, and drive client service excellence while delivering high-quality tax solutions in a balanced hybrid work environment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, with significant tax, business or financial planning experience.
• CPA certification or Bar membership.
• Typically, no less than 5–6 years relevant experience.
• Experience in professional services or professional tax organizations.
• Experience with federal and state personal and trust taxation.
• Experience with flow-through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships, LLCs).
• Understanding of automated tax processing systems.
• Gift, Estate and Trust tax planning and compliance is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed in a balanced hybrid environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver processes, solutions and projects with quality and risk management.
• Experience in continuous process improvement and identifying innovative solutions.
• Proven ability to guide and supervise others on complex initiatives.
• Depth of expertise in interpreting internal/external issues to recommend quality solutions.
• Track record of meeting performance objectives in client service, risk management, sales and growth.
