Job summary

EY Private Tax is looking for a Manager to provide personal and private tax advice and compliance support to business owners and families. You will lead delivery for complex structures, support wealth transfer and governance strategies, and navigate cross-border tax matters in a growing global team.

You will coach and develop teams, manage client relationships, and drive high-quality results in a hybrid environment. Travel may be required as part of client engagements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in a related field, supported by significant tax, business or financial planning experience.
• Typically, no less than 5 - 6 years relevant experience.
• CPA certification or membership in The Bar.
• Experience with federal and state personal and trust taxation.
• Experience with flow through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships, LLCs).
• Willingness to travel, and working in a balanced hybrid environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver processes, solutions, and projects while maintaining quality and risk management.
• Experience in continuous process improvement and identification of innovative solutions through research and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of tailored tax advice and compliance solutions for complex family and business structures.
• Supporting clients in wealth transfer, succession planning, and governance strategies.
• Navigating multijurisdictional families and cross-border tax matters.
• Guide and supervise professional employees or others to deliver complex technical initiatives with accountability for performance and results.
• Apply depth of expertise to interpret issues and recommend quality solutions to meet performance objectives.
