Job summary

InstaSwim LLC connects independent swim instructors with families in Philadelphia and surrounding towns for private at-home and community pool lessons. You set your schedule, choose which lesson offers to accept, and teach with minimal onboarding.

As an independent contractor, you’ll teach 1-on-1 or small group lessons, travel to lesson sites, and get paid after each booking. CPR/First Aid certification and reliable transport are required, with liability insurance provided by InstaSwim.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required; teaching experience is a plus.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to get certified before teaching).
• Reliable transportation.
• Legally able to work in the US.
• Able to pass a background check.
• A professional, positive attitude with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Teach private (1 on 1) and small group swim lessons at the family's pool.
• Plan each lesson around the swimmer's age, ability and goals.
• Track progress and adjust lessons as swimmers improve.
• Keep every lesson safe and fun.
• Travel to lessons within the distance you choose.
