Job summary

InstaSwim LLC connects independent swim instructors with families for private, one-on-one or small group lessons at home or community pools in Des Moines and nearby towns. You set your own schedule, accept lesson offers that fit, and enjoy fast payouts after each completed lesson.

As an independent contractor, you travel to lessons within your chosen distance, are covered by InstaSwim's liability insurance while teaching, and benefit from a simple onboarding process that gets you started quickly.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required. Swim teaching experience is a plus, and every application is reviewed.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to get certified before teaching).
• Reliable transportation.
• Legally able to work in the US.
• Able to pass a background check.
• A professional, positive attitude with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Teach private (1 on 1) and small group swim lessons at the family's pool.
• Plan each lesson around the swimmer's age, ability and goals.
• Track progress and adjust lessons as swimmers improve.
• Keep every lesson safe and fun.
• Travel to lessons within the distance you choose.
