Job summary

Brock & Company Inc. is seeking a Cook for a private school dining program in New York. This full-time role offers a daytime schedule Monday through Friday, 7am–3pm, with hourly pay of $21–$23 depending on experience.

You’ll prepare fresh foods, handle prep and assembly, and ensure quality, safety, and great service for students and staff. Experience in cooking or deli is required to be considered. This employer emphasizes teamwork and a positive attitude for daily performance.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have some cooking or deli experience to be considered.
• Able to comprehend recipes and production orders.
• Positive and team-oriented attitude required.

Responsibilities

• The production, preparation and cooking of foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and other items determined by the Chef Manager.
• Station set-up prior to service with appropriate equipment and food as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations.
• Provide courteous customer service at all times.
