Job summary

Brock & Company, Inc. is seeking a Cook for a private school in Massachusetts to prepare and serve meals in a kitchen where teamwork, creativity, and a positive attitude matter.

The role offers a full-time schedule with a pay rate of $17-$20 per hour and opportunities to contribute to a community-focused dining program. As a member of Brock & Company, you’ll follow supervisor instructions and help drive diverse menus, from soups and sauces to entrées, salads, and catered events.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to move objects approximately 35 lbs. to waist height.
• Understand and follow health, safety and food handling regulations.

Responsibilities

• The production, preparation and cooking of foods to include soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and all other items determined by the Chef.
• Station set – up prior to service with appropriate equipment and food to be determined by the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area via supervisor instruction and applicable health, safety and food handling regulations.
• Properly close down, clean, and sanitize work station prior to ending each shift.
• Provide customer service in a courteous manner at all times.
