Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Private School Cook in Minneapolis to join a professional team.

This Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm full-time position focuses on following recipes precisely, preparing meals with correct portions and temperatures, and upholding top-tier food safety standards. We offer guaranteed hours with no nights or weekends, competitive pay of $19.00–$23.00 per hour, free daily lunch, provided uniforms and PPE, and opportunities for advancement within Taher’s chef‑driven school dining

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Able to follow all safe food handling requirements.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times.

• Provide the highest quality of guest service at all times
• Execute recipes to the letter
• Prepare meals by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature, and is attractive and tasty

• Follows and completes production sheets
• Ability to meet deadlines in completion of daily workload
• Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food handling procedures
