Job summary

SDL Search Partners is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Private Markets and Corporate Technology team in Boston. You will work on systems that support partnership accounting, fund reporting, and BI across the firm, partnering with stakeholders, vendors, developers, and QA to deliver measurable improvements.

You will leverage expertise in Investran, eFront, or LemonEdge and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI to translate complex requirements into technical specifications,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business/systems analysis experience in buy-side/asset management or private equity.
• Experience with partnership accounting systems (Investran, eFront, Lemon Edge).
• Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI) including dashboard design.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and testing for partnership accounting and BI/reporting solutions.
• Translate complex fund accounting and data requirements into technical specifications.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes across Investran and BI tools.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and QA between systems and BI layers.
• Serve as SME in partnership accounting and private fund reporting.
• Advise on leveraging Investran features and automation.
• Manage plugins, customizations, and integrations to/from Investran.
• Lead product lifecycle and roadmap for Investran upgrades.
• Support new integrations and upgrades to platforms.
• Advocate best practices in systems analysis, product management, and governance.
