Chelmsford Public Schools seeks a Private Lesson Teacher: Guitar for Chelmsford Community Education, starting Fall 2026. You will deliver private half-hour guitar lessons, contribute to curriculum planning, and engage students of various ages while maintaining a welcoming classroom environment.

Applicants must be able to teach one-on-one and group sessions, adapt to diverse ability levels, collaborate with Community Education staff and parents, and complete a CORI check as part of the hiring

General Description

Private lesson teacher (guitar) for Chelmsford Community Education beginning Fall of 2026. Teaching private half-hour lessons through the Chelmsford Community at a rate of $25 per half hour lesson.

Responsibilities

• Teach Guitar skills and music literacy at age appropriate levels (K-Adult).
• Ukulele and bass guitar skills in addition to guitar are preferred but not required.
• Teach individual lessons and group lessons.
• Differentiate for students of varying ability.
• Collaborate with Community Education staff, parents, and building faculty to coordinate lessons.
