Job summary

Berkner Band Learning Community in Richardson, TX is seeking a dedicated bassoon private instructor to work with students from 6th through 12th grade for the 26-27 school year. The role may involve teaching 6+ students across Berkner High School, Liberty JH, and Apollo JH bands.

Qualifications

• Excellent musician with bassoon proficiency and pedagogy awareness.

• Familiarity with a wide range of solo literature for bassoon.
• Understanding of TMEA All-Region and All-State processes.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent ensemble teaching background.

Responsibilities

• Teach bassoon to multiple students across 6th–12th grade.

The Berkner High School Band Learning Community is searching for a BASSOON private instructor to take on students from 6th through 12th grades for the 26-27 school year. This job would potentially involve teaching 6+ students. Berkner is in Richardson ISD and the cluster includes two junior high schools. The Berkner HS, Liberty JH, and Apollo JH bands all have a long tradition of excellence.
