Cranbrook Schools is seeking part-time Private Music Teachers to teach Bassoon lessons at various grade levels on the Cranbrook campus in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Instructors focus on scales, arpeggios, etudes, solo, and chamber music literature.

Families will contact the instructor to request lessons, sign a contract, and schedule a time for the student and instructor. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Music (Master’s preferred); successful teaching experience; extensive performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field required.
• Successful experience teaching students is required.
• Extensive personal accomplishments in performance are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Bassoon lessons to students at various grade levels.
• Develop curriculum focusing on scales, arpeggios, etudes, solo and chamber works.
• Coordinate scheduling with families and sign lesson contracts.
• Maintain student progress records and provide feedback.
