Our client, a top-tier US law firm active in London, seeks a Private Funds Paralegal to support the team through the full lifecycle of private investment funds. You will gain exposure to fund formation, closings and high-level transactions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The role requires a degree, strong drafting and communication skills, and excellent organisational abilities. Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential,

Qualifications

• Degree education with excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills are essential, with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with private fund formation, closings, investments and transactions.
• Draft and review fund formation and subscription documents.
• Assist with private placement memoranda and related documentation.
• Support regulatory matters, including AIFMD and UK/EU requirements.
• Manage closing checklists, signatures and document execution.
• Liaise with clients, investors and external service providers.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research.
• Maintain fund documentation, trackers and electronic files.
• Provide wider transactional and administrative support to the team.
