Job summary

LHH, a boutique law firm in New York City, seeks a Private Funds Associate to join its sophisticated venture capital and private equity platform.

You will advise fund sponsors and investors on fund formation, fundraising, investments, and related regulatory matters while gaining exposure to the broader venture ecosystem through collaborative teamwork and access to experienced attorneys.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of private funds experience.
• Strong VC and/or private equity fund formation background.
• Experience with fund documentation and related regulatory matters.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission.

Responsibilities

• Advise fund sponsors and investors on fund formation, fundraising, investments, and related regulatory matters.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and other practice areas to support the venture ecosystem.
• Provide strategic guidance on compliance and regulatory considerations affecting private funds.
