White & Case seeks a junior to mid-level Associate to join our Investment Funds practice in New York, focusing on private funds and institutional investors. You will advise on fund formation, capital raising, and related regulatory matters across North America, with cross-border exposure.

You will work with leading sponsors and large global investors, taking ownership of drafting, negotiations, and coordinating with partners and clients. JD, NY Bar, and 3–6 years' experience required.

Qualificações

• JD required; admission to New York Bar or eligibility.
• Approximately 3–6 years of relevant private funds/investment management experience.
• Experience advising on private fund formation, primary and secondary transactions, and regulatory matters.

Responsabilidades

• Advise investment managers on fund formation and capital raising; draft fund documents; assist with investor negotiations and side letters.
• Assist with GP stakes transactions, seeding arrangements, and structuring investment management firms.
• Advise on secondary fund interests and investments by institutional investors; coordinate drafting and execution with partners and clients.
• Take ownership of transactions; manage drafting processes and coordination with teams.
• Work on investment management–adjacent M&A and strategic transactions, including joint ventures and collaborations.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, regulatory, IP and M&A teams to deliver integrated solutions.
