Job summary

White & Case LLP is seeking a junior to mid-level Associate to join the Investment Funds practice in New York, focusing on private funds, primary/secondary investments, and related regulatory matters. Qualifications

• JD/LL.M. or foreign equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility) and in good standing.
• Approximately 3-6 years of relevant experience in private funds and investment management at a leading firm or in-house.
• Experience advising on private fund formation and/or institutional investments into private funds.

Responsibilities

• Advise investment managers on fund formation and capital-raising activities; draft fund documents and side letters.
• Assist with GP stakes transactions and the structuring of investment management firms.
• Advise on secondary investments and private asset portfolios for institutional investors.
• Collaborate with colleagues across finance, tax, regulatory, and M&A to deliver integrated solutions.
• Take ownership of key transaction aspects and coordinate execution with partners and clients.
