Qualifications

• Solid, hands-on bookkeeping or financial-operations experience including building budgets and debt payoff plans from scratch, not just maintaining existing systems.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Monarch a plus; the family is open to your preferred tools and workflow.
• Highly discreet. You understand the sensitivity of managing someone else’s personal finances.

Responsibilities

• Build a personal budget from the ground up and get the family fully organized, there’s no formal system in place today.
• Create and manage a debt payoff plan, tracking progress until it’s paid off.
• Manage day-to-day cash flow, bill payments, and account monitoring.
• Build and maintain ongoing financial trackers and reporting tools the family can rely on long-term.
• Work closely with the family’s business CPA on where personal and business finances intersect.
• Monitor accounts and flag anything that needs attention before it becomes a problem.
• Keep all financial information strictly confidential.
