Job summary

Civic Center Foundation is seeking a motivated Private Events Coordinator to manage Private Event activities at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City. The role reports to the Director of Events & Private Events Manager and focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring safety and smooth operations.

The coordinator will work with vendors, help design floorplans, support public events, and maintain a social media presence during events.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills with a positive attitude.
• Problem solving and resolution orientation.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize with attention to detail.
• Experience in Corporate Events and Weddings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patrons at all times.
• Ensure the best guest experience during events.
• Collaborate with team to resolve issues promptly.
• Present a friendly, professional demeanor while following policies.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for safe, timely load-in/load-out for Private Events.
• Assist with public Civic Center events as needed.
• Support design meetings and create floorplans for Private Events.
• Maintain an active Instagram story during events.
