Job summary

Manhatta, perched sixty stories above Lower Manhattan, seeks a Private Event Server to guide guests through memorable events with Enlightened Hospitality. You’ll join a team delivering exceptional service across conferences, weddings, and seated events in a high-energy venue.

We value 1–2 years of event service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage, and a current Food Handlers Certificate. Expect a dynamic, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and learning within Union Square

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of similar event service experience.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, and cocktails.
• Current Food Handlers Certificate.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Availability on demand, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Exude warmth and friendliness, a passion for food and service, and a strong desire to pursue more knowledge and growth.
• Maintain strong work ethic, reliability, and a “find they yes” mindset.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by consistently following established steps of service standards.
• Support seamless service by running food, assisting with preparation, table set-up, and post-event closeout tasks.
• Assist with food and table prep before the event begins.
• Execute event set-up, service, and breakdown for all-day conferences, weddings, receptions, and seated events of all sizes.
• Perform job functions with precision, speed, and accuracy, even during high-volume or high pressure services.
• Prioritize the minute details of service appropriately, and adapt to constantly changing priorities.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment while performing efficiently under pressure.
• Adapt quickly to changing event needs, resolve service issues with sound judgment, and escal.when appropriate.
• Support overall team objectives and operational excellence by completing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
