Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Private Equity Manager position within our Central Division Branch Operations, located remotely. This is a national role responsible for managing the day-to-day operations in the Private Equity contractor channel, primarily focused on residential areas of responsibility (AOR). The role involves working with PE firm principals and staff to establish brand strategies, pricing, and programs to maximize market position through acquisitions. Continued focus on inverter technology within the PE channel and alignment with Daikin’s Fusion goals to achieve #1 in North America is essential. Collaboration with various divisions and corporate departments across the US is required to establish onboarding processes, program utilization, local support, and Statement of Work (SOW) achievement.

Position Responsibilities include:
  1. Driving sales efforts to meet or exceed budgetary goals and revenue guidelines within the assigned market segment.
  2. Soliciting new and existing PE accounts to meet/exceed goals through various channels, including Zoom meetings and in-person visits.
  3. Participating in weekly business review meetings, pre-meetings, training sessions, and other sales-related activities with divisions and the PE channel.
  4. Maintaining knowledge of PE market trends, competition, and customer needs.
  5. Recommending improvements to service and expanding local successes into new areas.
  6. Identifying market trends and innovative ways to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, strengthen market position, and boost revenue growth.
  7. Communicating the company's vision and strategic direction both internally and to customers.
  8. Contributing to sales and marketing planning to establish strategies, goals, and objectives annually.
  9. Monitoring competitor activities and industry developments affecting product management.
  10. Identifying product line opportunities or deficiencies.
  11. Developing and implementing best practices for building and maintaining client relationships to position the company as a provider of choice.
  12. Exploring untapped or underdeveloped market opportunities.
  13. Assisting in developing action plans for market opportunities and updating CRM with sales/margin data for reporting.
  14. Monitoring the implementation and progress of initiatives and plans.
  15. Establishing processes for customer management.
  16. Coordinating product training with suppliers and industry associations.
  17. Performing additional projects and duties to support ongoing business needs.

  • Extensive experience with MS Office suite.
  • Project management skills are a plus.
Experience & Education
  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or equivalent work experience preferred.
