Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a PEFS Manager to oversee day-to-day private equity client deliverables including quarterly financial reporting, capital calls, and carried interest calculations. You will manage a team, review schedules, and ensure compliance with fund agreements.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in accounting, supervisory experience, and CRE fund accounting knowledge, with CPA and MBA/MSA preferred. This role emphasizes client relations and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience; relevant field.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in performance management, training and retention.
• Experience with commercial real estate fund accounting; exposure to property-level accounting preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; MBA/MSA and CPA preferred.
• Strong communication and client-relations skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly financial statements and investor reporting.
• Oversee quarterly investor capital statements and schedules supporting GL balances.
• Prepare and review capital call notices and distribution notices.
• Calculate and review waterfall structures and carried interest.
• Compute and verify management fees and ensure timely payments.
• Interact with General Partners and respond to client requests.
• Complete regulatory forms and ensure compliance with Operating Agreement.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide reports for year-end audits.
• Provide leadership, training, and coaching to the team.
