Job summary

State Street Corporation in New Jersey is seeking a finance operations leader to manage day-to-day service delivery for fund accounting teams and to act as a primary contact for operational issues.

You will coordinate the implementation of new funds, processes and client projects, coach staff, and drive best practices while ensuring compliance and fiduciary reviews are performed thoroughly.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Finance, Business or related field.
• 3–4 years of related Custody and/or Fund Accounting experience, with some supervisory responsibility.
• Knowledge of securities language and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Account for day-to-day management of a functional team and staff delivery.
• Primary contact and escalation point for operational issues; provide technical expertise.
• Coordinate implementation of new funds, systems and processes.
• Assist with client conversions and other client projects.
• Train, develop and motivate staff; perform performance appraisals.
• Identify and implement consistent operational best practices.
