Job summary

Atlantic Group seeks a Controller to join our rapidly growing private equity platform in New York. This newly created role will scale the finance team as we manage a $1B fund, with exposure to fund accounting, management company accounting, valuations, audits, and financial reporting.

You will lead quarterly closes, capital calls, investor reporting, and cash management; supervise audits and fund administrator relationships; ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls; and partner with

Qualifications

• 6+ years of private equity fund accounting experience.
• CPA required.
• Experience within a private equity firm strongly preferred.
• Strong technical accounting, reporting, and fund operations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage fund accounting, financial reporting, and quarterly close processes.
• Review capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, and cash management activities.
• Oversee audits, valuations, and fund administrator relationships.
• Ensure GAAP compliance with partnership agreements and internal controls.
• Support transaction activity and collaborate with investment professionals.
• Manage management company accounting and related financial operations.
• Drive process improvements and help scale the finance infrastructure of a growing private equity platform.
• Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, reporting, and fund operations.
