Job summary

SS&C Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Private Equity & FoF Accounting in San Francisco, CA, a hybrid role overseeing private equity fund accounting, from capital activity to audits.

You will lead client relationships, ensure timely reporting, and mentor junior staff in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role emphasizes leadership in alternative investment funds, with duties spanning financial statements, waterfall models, and tax support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience with emphasis on alternative investment funds.
• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Knowlege of US GAAP and investment partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more key client relationships and ensure timely delivery of fund accounting and reporting.
• Lead and develop junior staff, set goals, coach, and participate in performance reviews.
• Review fund governing documents to ensure correct application of terms and oversee transactions (calls, distributions, accruals, valuations).
• Prepare capital account statements, investor allocations, and management fee calculations.
• Support year-end audits and coordinate tax reporting and other client deliverables.
