Job summary

Ares Management is seeking an Associate to join the Registered Secondaries Accounting team. You will support monthly NAV and fund reporting, assist with closes and reconciliations, and track cash and investment activity for private equity investments.

The role involves analyzing financial statements and aiding regulatory reporting for registered funds. You will collaborate with internal teams and fund administrators while contributing to process improvements and ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 2–4 years of experience in fund accounting or related fields.
• Experience with private equity or alternative investments is a plus.
• Familiarity with US GAAP investment company accounting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly NAV process and fund reporting.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly closes and reconciliations.
• Track cash and investment activity for private equity investments.
• Analyze financial statements and support investment activity recording.
• Prepare regulatory reporting for registered funds.
• Coordinate with internal teams and fund administrators.
