Job summary

Ares Management LLC is seeking an Associate to join the Registered Secondaries Accounting team. The Associate will support the day-to-day accounting, NAV processes and regulatory reporting for registered investment companies investing in private equity secondaries and related structures.

The role requires collaboration with the fund administrator and internal teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, assist with month-end closes, and contribute to process improvements and scalable controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 2-4 years of experience in fund accounting, investment accounting, private equity accounting, registered funds or public accounting.
• Experience with private equity/alternative investment products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly NAV process including fund administrator packaging and reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly closes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare regulatory reporting for registered funds (N-PORT, N-CSR, N-CSRS) and related requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, accruals and variance analysis and with ad hoc reporting.
