Job summary

Institute of Management Accountants, Inc. is seeking a Controller Private Equity to lead our financial operations within a private equity environment. You will partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth through treasury, forecasting, budgeting, and investor reporting.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage a small outsourced accounting team, uphold strong financial controls, and spearhead operational improvements and best practices in a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury management and cash flow forecasting.

• Ability to lead budgeting processes and investor reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee treasury management, fund wires, capital calls and distributions, and investment of excess cash.
• Produce 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts and annual cash flow projections.
• Lead annual budgeting and ongoing financial planning.
• Manage outsourced accounting team and ensure accurate reporting and efficiency; develop financial metrics, management and investor reporting materials.
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, insurance providers, and IT partners.
• Support tax compliance for federal/state income and sales tax requirements.
• Partner with leadership to implement operational improvements and financial best practices.
