Job summary

Atlantic Group in New York is seeking a senior fund accounting executive to lead accounting, reporting, and operational infrastructure for its private equity funds and related entities.

You will own the quarterly and annual reporting cycle, including financial statements, audit coordination, investor reporting, waterfalls, and carried interest metrics, while collaborating with investment, finance, tax, and IR teams to ensure accuracy and smooth execution.

Qualifications

• 7-14 years of public/private accounting or straight private sector accounting within private equity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, reporting, and operational infrastructure for private equity funds and related entities.
• Own quarterly and annual fund reporting cycle, including financial statements, audit coordination, investor reporting, waterfall calculations, carried interest, and performance metrics.
• Partner with investment, finance, tax, and investor relations teams to ensure accurate reporting and seamless execution across the fund lifecycle.
• Oversee capital activity including capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and cash management with adherence to partnership agreements and side letters.
• Provide accounting expertise on complex investment transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, valuations, and portfolio company activity.
• Serve as primary contact for investors, auditors, tax advisors, and external partners to deliver a best-in-class investor experience.
• Drive enhancements to fund accounting processes, systems, and controls to improve scalability, efficiency, and transparency.

• Own the quarterly and annual fund reporting cycle, including financial statements, audit coordination, investor reporting, waterfall calculations, carried interest, and performance metrics.
• Partner closely with investment, finance, tax, and investor relations teams to ensure accurate reporting and seamless execution across the fund lifecycle.
• Oversee capital activity, including capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and cash management, while ensuring compliance with partnership agreements and side letters.
• Provide accounting expertise on complex investment transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, valuations, and portfolio company activity, while supporting strategic initiatives and firm growth.
• Serve as a key point of contact for investors, auditors, tax advisors, and other external partners, helping deliver a best-in-class investor experience.
• Drive enhancements to fund accounting processes, systems, and controls to improve scalability, efficiency, and transparency across the platform.
