Job summary

JPMorgan Private Equity Group (PEG) seeks an associate for its Information Management Group in New York. You will manage client portfolios allocated to private equity funds, evaluate information, coordinate activities, and prepare financial reports.

Responsibilities include developing workflows, performing reconciliations, and ensuring accurate transaction reporting to enhance data integrity and resource allocation. You will also support portfolio managers and CFO-related reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting and operational experience, with private equity exposure.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent and knowledge of private equity transactions.
• Strong communication, spreadsheet, and analytical skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transaction activity to ensure proper action in accordance with instructions.
• Communicate inconsistencies to the private equity partnership and follow up on missing information.
• Approve transactions captured in the front end system and ensure proper posting into Private i.
• Prepare transaction notification packets for clients’ custodian.
• Disseminate complete packets to custodian and internal users.
• Reconcile transaction activity between custodian and Private i reports.
• Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to client and portfolio manager information requests.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports as required in agreement with clients.
• Disseminate reports to appropriate parties.
• Liaise with custodian to ensure reconciliation of monthly/quarterly activity.
• Evaluate investment performance and identify efficiencies in business processes.
• Assist CFO in management and reporting.
