Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset Management is seeking a Full-Time Associate for its Information Management team within the Private Equity Group. The role emphasizes strong Excel/financial modeling, data integrity, and client-focused reporting.

The associate will support portfolio managers, prepare communications, and enhance analytics across multiple data sources. The position requires 2+ years in related fields, a finance/accounting degree, and excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in private equity, finance, information management, data analytics or accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent with knowledge of private equity transactions.
• Strong Excel skills; Word and PowerPoint proficiency required.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and detail-oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly client reports and ensure accuracy.
• Review third-party investment valuations and maintain client accounting records.
• Assist in managing capital activity across client portfolios.
• Perform fee calculations per fund/client agreements.
• Create and improve client materials, dashboards and analytics.
• Develop analytical models and Excel templates for cash flow projections.
• Coordinate with service managers and tech teams to ensure data integrity.
• Identify discrepancies and respond to client inquiries.
