Hire Talent is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to own the monthly close across multiple entities, strengthen controls, and lead both onshore and offshore staff as the company scales. This role offers visibility and responsibility in a growing, multi-entity environment.

You will partner with finance leadership to drive consolidations, inventory costing, and audits while driving process improvements and automation in a private equity-backed organization.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or CPA track preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience leading and developing a team.
• Demonstrated ownership of the monthly close in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, balance sheet reconciliations, consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Inventory and cost accounting experience within distribution, manufacturing, remanufacturing or another inventory-intensive environment.
• Experience partnering with operations and/or supply chain.
• Experience improving accounting processes, controls and workflows.
• Private equity, acquisition and/or integration experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills. BlackLine, Epicor Prelude and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close across multiple entities and locations.
• Drive accurate, timely financial reporting and a disciplined, increasingly efficient close process.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations and roll-forwards and ensure U.S. GAAP compliance.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and drive resolution of aged or unexplained items.
• Support consolidations, intercompany activity and eliminations.
• Lead accounting around inventory, cost accounting and related supply-chain activity.
• Strengthen accounting policies, procedures and internal controls across the organization.
• Lead, mentor and develop onshore and offshore accounting resources, establishing clear expectations and accountability.
• Assess team capabilities, develop talent and help build the accounting organization needed for future growth.
• Support reporting to lenders and the private equity sponsor and coordinate financial statement, tax and insurance audits.
• Facilitate capital expenditure requests, including ROI analysis, accounting treatment, tracking and approvals.
• Support cash management, pay files, outbound wires and appropriate segregation of duties.
• Drive process improvement, standardization and automation across accounting.
• Support acquisition integration and finance transformation initiatives.
• Partner with the Controller and finance leadership to identify issues, recommend solutions and drive change.
