Qualifications

• Background in public accounting (Big 4 strongly preferred).
• Experience in a private, PE-backed, or acquisitive environment.
• Strong month-end close ownership and technical accounting foundation.
• Exposure to inventory and/or operational accounting environments.
• Leadership mindset — currently managing or ready to step into people/process leadership.
• Comfortable in fast-moving, 'build as you go' settings.

Responsibilities

• Own and run the month-end close process across multiple operating entities.
• Support and clean up accounting for newly acquired businesses.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Partner closely with the Controller and work directly with the CFO.
• Assist with inventory, cost of sales, and margin analysis.
• Help build scalable processes as the company continues to grow.
