Job summary

Gart Capital Partners, the growth equity arm of The Gart Companies Inc. in Denver, seeks an accomplished Associate to analyze, diligence and drive growth in private equity investments.

You will partner with partners, source platform/add-on transactions, and work directly with portfolio companies to execute projects and facilitate internal communication. Candidates must have 2 years minimum in investment banking, consulting, or private equity, with strong modeling, data analytics, and

Qualifications

• Two years minimum of investment banking, management consulting, or private equity experience.
• Experience in the U.S. consumer industry and trends.
• Willing to live, work, and succeed in Denver.
• Unimpeachable ethical standards and behavior.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to define and manage work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Experience working on M&A transactions and company valuations.
• Top-tier financial modeling ability, including both financial and operational models.

Responsibilities

• Researching, analyzing and conducting diligence in support of new investment opportunities.
• Preparing sophisticated financial and detailed operating models.
• Analyzing and synthesizing large volumes of data.
• Leveraging AI tools and workflows for improved efficiency and action
• Preparing investment presentations for Gart Capital's partners and capital providers.
• Monitoring and preparing financial reporting packages for portfolio companies.
• Evaluating and analyzing various growth and value creation initiatives at the portfolio companies.
