Our client is searching for a 2025 Private Equity Associate based in North Carolina. The Associate will play a critical role as a junior professional in executing platform investments and add-ons, due diligence, closing processes, and portfolio management. The Associate will be given significant responsibility as a crucial member of the deal teams.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviewing and evaluating prospective investment opportunities
• Managing due diligence and deal closing process
• Identifying, evaluating, and executing new deals as well as add-on investments for existing portfolio companies
• Structuring debt financing and helping to assist with the negotiation of credit terms
• Monitoring portfolio companies and leading the execution of projects and strategic initiatives
• Critically thinking and forming a view on various investment theses
• Working with senior-level executives in a fast-paced environment, sometimes with limited guidance and oversight

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a top institution and strong academic record
• Two years or more of investment banking or private equity work experience
• Exceptional finance, modeling, research, and analytical skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Strong presentation skills and excellent business judgment
• Highly motivated and entrepreneurial; possessing a high degree of personal initiative
