Job summary

JSS, a private equity firm investing in mid-market businesses across media, entertainment, communications and technology, is looking to add an Associate to the team.

This is a full-cycle role involving sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities with direct exposure to partners and live deal decisions from day one.

Location: New York, NY. Please note: no visa sponsorship or visa transfer is available for this role.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience at a tier 1 investment bank (must have).
• Prior experience in the TMT sector (strongly desirable).
• Genuine interest in media, entertainment, communications, or technology sectors.

Responsibilities

• Source and screen new investment opportunities
• Build financial models and lead diligence workstreams
• Support execution through close, with post-close involvement on portfolio initiatives
• Work directly with senior team members across the full lifecycle
