Job summary

PPM America, Inc. in Chicago seeks a Private Equity Accountant II to perform complex accounting, financial analysis and reporting tasks. The role requires independent judgment and supports process improvements and internal controls.

You will prepare statements, reconcilations, forecasting, fund-fee calculations and tax compliance while mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and analyzes financial statements and related reports.
• Conducts account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assists with forecasting and cost analysis.
• Assists with maintaining fund credit facilities.
• Manages information/document inflow from fund investments.
• Calculates management fees and ensures tax compliance.
• Prepares month-, quarter-, and year-end reports.
• Supports audits with requested documentation.
• Implements process improvements and mentors junior staff.
