Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. is seeking a Developmental Disabilities Nurse (RN) for Monroe, OH, on a 7a–7p full-time shift. The role offers $35-$36 per hour with an additional $4 per hour on weekends, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team.

You will administer medications, support daily living activities, maintain records, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust plans of care under supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Nursing from an accredited program.
• RN license required.
• Experience in Home Care/Home Health or related settings is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per the plan of care, including medication administration, personal care, light housekeeping and day-to-day support.
• Maintain a 2:2 ratio of individuals through a consistent caseload.
• Communicate updates and changes to patient status to the supervising RN.
• Maintain a safe patient environment.
• Provide emotional and social support and compassionate care to patients.
• Maintain current patient records and progress notes.
• Collaborate as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Develop and establish a plan of care with the physician.

At ViaQuest Residential Services we provide quality support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes.

Requirements for this position include:

• Minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

• Nursing experience within Home Care/ Home Health, Private Duty Nursing, Long Term Care, or Disability Services is a plus but not required
• Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
