Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for local private duty nursing in Locust Grove, VA. The role covers high acuity patients (G-tube, trach, vent) and low acuity patients (G-tube only) with all shifts and hours available.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to high/low acuity patients in the home setting.
• Document care and coordinate with family and physicians.
• Follow physician orders and care plans and ensure patient safety and comfort
