Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide private duty home health care across our patient population. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care delivered in patients’ homes.

We offer flexible scheduling including full-time, part-time, or PRN. You’ll receive comprehensive benefits, 24/7 local support, and opportunities for skill advancement and paid training, with electronic documentation via a patient tablet.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• TB test current within last 12 months.
• Six months of hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered home health care to diverse populations with compassion.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to meet clinical outcomes.
• Document and report patient progress accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 60 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
