Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School is seeking compassionate LPNs and RNs to provide private duty nursing for a pediatric client in Columbia, MD. The role involves home-based care for a 7-year-old with a central line and G-tube, with a schedule of one day per week from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities include one-on-one client care, nursing assessments, administering medications and treatments per the Plan of Care, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted MD nursing license or multi-state compact.
• MD licensure for LPN or RN as applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Private Duty Pediatric Nurse (RN ONLY) for 7 year old male, with a central line & g-tube in Columbia, MD.

The following shift(s) are available for this case:

1 day per week: 9A-5P

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
