Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in Verona, NY is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, in-home care for infants with high-acuity needs, including trach/vent and G-tube. You’ll join a large national private duty nursing team focused on outstanding clinical outcomes.

We offer flexible scheduling (days, nights, weekends), full-time/part-time/PRN options, 24/7 local support, and comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision, life insurance, PTO, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where you practice.
• CPR certification (hands-on component) required or able to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home nursing care to patients, including infants with high-acuity needs.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes; document and report to care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and maintain clinical records.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered license (RN) in the state in which the clinician will practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 60 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
