Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in Massachusetts is seeking a Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our private duty homecare team. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in patients' homes, coordinating with clinicians and families to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.

The role offers flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, or PRN) across day, night, and weekend shifts, with 24/7 local support and opportunities for skill advancement and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state where you will practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (hands-on component) – Aveanna can assist in obtaining after hire.
• TB skin test current within last 12 months.
• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home nursing care to patients as part of Aveanna’s private duty team.
• Document patient care using Aveanna’s electronic tablet system.
• Collaborate with clinicians and office staff to coordinate care.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill advancement programs.
