Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN) to provide in‑home private duty nursing across diverse patient populations. You will deliver high‑quality care, document accurately, and collaborate with families and clinicians to support excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification (hands‑on component) – Aveanna can assist after hire if needed.
• TB skin test (within last 12 months).
• Six months of hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Collaborate with families and clinicians to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and care plans using available tools.

• Compact licenses must be transferred to your state of residence within 60 days
• Current CPR certification (with hands‑on component)- Aveanna can assist in obtaining this requirement after hire, if necessary.
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Six months prior hands‑on nursing experience preferred but not required
• Must have reliable transportation
