Job summary

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide one-on-one private-duty care for a client in Union, NJ. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling and weekly pay every Friday.

You will assist with activities of daily living, provide companionship, and help maintain safety and independence at home while driving as required by the care plan. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour, with opportunities for sign-on and referral bonuses and a fast onboarding

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey CHHA certification.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive client's vehicle.
• Current physical examination.
• PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray, as required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Newly certified HHAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Support activities of daily living and provide medication reminders.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required by the care plan.
