Job summary

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide one-on-one private-duty care for a client in Somerset, NJ. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling and starts at $19.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and safe home support. Applicants must have a NJ CHHA certificate, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to drive as required.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey CHHA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Current physical examination.
• PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray as required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Support activities of daily living and provide medication reminders.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Drive the client using the client’s vehicle when required by the care plan.
