Job summary

Affirmed Home Care, Inc. in Scotch Plains, NJ is seeking a compassionate Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one private-duty care to clients in their homes throughout Scotch Plains and the surrounding Union County area.

This per diem position offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay every Friday, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey CHHA certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to drive clients using the client’s vehicle as part of the care plan.
• Current physical examination.
• PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray as required.
• Experience preferred; newly certified HHAs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily activities and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Maintain client safety and comfort.
• Transport clients using the client’s vehicle when required by the care plan.
